Easily accessible and comfortable ground floor apartment.  Anchor is found in a quiet residential street and guests can walk downhill to the bustling sea front and promenade within 10 minutes and reach the main shopping area, with its cafes, pubs and restaurants.  Nearby is the Sea Front, with its sandy beaches, Langmoor Gardens and the historic Cobb’ so visitors can park their cars at Anchor and forget about them for the entire holiday!  This modern, light and airy apartment offers ease of movement, making it very suitable for those guests who may have limited mobility. 

Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent UNESCO Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby.  Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location.  There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, Guitars on The Beach, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family. 

Please do take note that Anchor is the Ground Floor apartment from the conversion of Ilex House into two apartments. Above is the First Floor holiday apartment.

Accommodation 
Front door to hallway. Side access door to kitchen also.
Lounge has two comfortable sofas and a Flatscreen TV and DVD.  
Kitchen, with its separate dining area, is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, washing machine, microwave.
From the kitchen, a side door leads to the rear of the property and the patio.
Bedroom 1 is equipped with a 4ft 6inch double bed.
Bedroom 2 has twin 3ft beds.  
Shower Room, which is fitted with a wash-hand basin and a WC.

Outside
The small rear courtyard is for the exclusive use of visitors to Anchor and is equipped with patio table and chairs.  

Parking
To the front of the property there is off-road parking for one large car, with consideration for other guests. 

Electric Cars: Please note that this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.

• Included: All bed linen and towels, (please bring your own beach towels), WiFi, electricity, gas central heating.  
• Pets: One well behaved dog or two small dogs welcome in public areas of property only (not bedrooms). Pet Charge: £30.00 per pet per week.
• Smoking/vaping: Not permitted.
• Electric Cars: Please note that this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.
• Telephone: Mobile reception mixed.
• Local facilities: Beach, shops and pubs: 5 to 10 minutes walk downhill or 2 minutes in the car..  Axminster 5 miles, Bridport 10 miles.
• Short breaks: Are available from a Friday, Tuesday or Wednesday in low / mid seasons only.
• Please note: Lyme Regis is a hilly location and the walk from the town to the property maybe steep for some guests on the way back.
