Description

Location and Area

Nestled just half a mile away from the historic village of Tintagel, renowned for its captivating legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, Trenale Court is peacefully situated in the rural hamlet of Trenale, approximately one mile from the dramatic cliffs of the North Cornwall Coast.

Positioned on one side of a tranquil country lane, these holiday cottages provide an ideal starting point for exploring Cornwall, whether by foot or by car. The surrounding area offers a wealth of scenic walks, including the coastal footpath and the picturesque Rocky Valley. Tintagel, with its array of shops, pubs, and restaurants, is a quick 5-minute drive away or easily accessible on foot. It is also home to the renowned medieval castle and the intriguing Merlin's sea cave.

The charming National Trust harbour at Boscastle is just 2.5 miles distant, while Camelford, with its leisure centre featuring a swimming pool, is located 4.5 miles away. For beach enthusiasts, Bossiney Cove, a leisurely 20-minute stroll away, reveals a sandy shoreline at low tide, while the surfing haven of Trebarwith Strand is a mere 10-minute drive. Although each of the eight cottages at Trenale Court possesses its unique character, they share many similar amenities, making them a preferred choice for families and friends seeking a joint holiday experience while benefiting from separate accommodations.

Accommodation

Named after the dippers frequently spotted in the nearby Rocky Valley, this single-story cottage is connected to Titmouse Cottage.

Two gentle steps guide you to the front door, which opens directly into a well-lit living room. Inside, you'll find a television, comfortable sofas facing an electric fire, and a dining table. The kitchen is equipped with essential appliances, including a fridge, electric hob, oven, and microwave.

From the living room, a fully glazed door and a couple of steps lead down to an L-shaped patio garden that faces south and west, offering nearly continuous sunshine. A gate opens to the paddock, which boasts views stretching towards the sea.

The cottage comprises two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with a single, both featuring delightful views of the surrounding countryside and the sea in the distance. The bathroom includes a WC, hand basin, shower over the bath, and a heated towel rail.

To keep you warm, this property is fitted with electric radiators. Shared amenities include a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.
