Higher Barn is a pretty three-bedroom home in the picturesque village of Beeson, less than a mile from the beach at Beesands. Guests can enjoy dining together in the kitchen diner, cosying up in the lounge on a cool evening around the fire or enjoying relaxing in the sun on the outdoor sofa or meals on the sunny terrace. All 3 bedrooms are a good size and light and airy with views over the village and surrounding countryside. Guests can meander down the Devon lanes to the beach or enjoy a meal at The Cricket Inn or Britannia seafood restaurant or just enjoy the walk across fields instead. The South West Coast Path is accessed in Beesands, and there's a gorgeous circular walk to Torcross and back over the cliffs. After a busy day exploring the South Hams guests will enjoy relaxing in this lovely home from home.

The traditional Devon village of Beeson is nestled in beautiful countryside a half mile from popular Beesands with its beach, village green, Britannia seafood restaurant, and The Cricket Inn, well known for its tasty food. The Millbrook Inn another popular gastropub is close by in the pretty village of South Pool, where there is also tidal estuary access. The historic town of Dartmouth is an 11 mile drive, and the bustling market town of Kingsbridge 8 miles away both with shops, restaurants, cafes and cinemas. Salcombe can be reached by the foot ferry from East Portlemouth, or by road a little further past Kingsbridge, and bohemian Totnes is a hive of independent shops, and has a popular Christmas market along with good rail links. The surrounding area is scenic for walking with the South West Coast Path in easy reach and there are popular cycling routes and plenty of options for watersports’. Local attractions and cosy village pubs are plentiful in this fabulous area.
