Description

Airy and spacious with an interior that could easily grace the pages of a glossy magazine, King’s Quay is as good-looking as it is practical, with three stunning bedrooms and a fabulous living area providing families and couples with an exceptional base from which to explore all that the town and surrounding coastline have to offer. Utilising every sublime inch of its period home architecture, the house has a unique layout where angled walls and varied ceiling heights create a space that is both intriguing and welcoming; with contemporary furnishings and a coast-inspired colour palette lending a calming quality throughout.

Arranged over two floors, the open plan upstairs living area strikes a harmonious balance between style and comfort with luxury seating and beach-infused design elements forming an inviting place to spend time together in. Also incorporated into this floor is the home’s bespoke kitchen as well as the dining area, so for evenings spent at home guests can prepare and share delicious meals with ease. Dual aspect waterside views frame the room while a huge sliding door opens to invite the sea air in and leads out to a furnished terrace where morning coffees and evening G&T’s can be savoured. Located on the lower floor, the property’s three bedrooms include a spacious master suite with its own shower room as well as a second double and lovely children’s bunk room. All of the bedrooms feature deeply comfortable mattresses and high-quality linen with the two adult’s bedrooms showcasing bird's eye views of the harbour beyond.

With what can only be described as near-iconic status thanks to Sky Atlantic's Fish Town, Brixham is packed with a variety of wonderful restaurants, many of which offer the fresh seafood that has been caught in its very own waters. Ice cream shops, cafes and pubs are a-plenty, as are the gift shops and boutique stores, all arranged in colourful eclecticism around the harbour and marina. Within just a short drive from the town are some of Torbay’s best beaches including Broadsands and Goodrington, although locals prefer a scenic stroll along the seafront to the hidden Fishcombe Cove for a dip in the sea.
