Description

Lower Well Cottage is a detached converted farm building, arranged in reverse level style. The property has its own large garden and private use of the heated indoor swimming pool to which guests will have exclusive access (session times by arrangement with the owners). A fabulous kitchen diner, cloakroom/en-suite and king bedroom can be found on the ground floor all of which have the benefit of underfloor heating. Another king size bedroom (or can be twin if requested at time of booking) and en-suite bathroom can be found on the first floor along with the gorgeous lounge which has a stunning high vaulted ceiling, offering calming and relaxing vibes in which to enjoy the beautiful country views that surround this property. 

Both the cottage and the swimming pool are very accessible so a fantastic choice for guests with mobility issues. There is a flat entrance from the driveway via the front door with ground floor bedrooms and a bathroom The swimming pool has an electric hoist making the pool a feature that can be enjoyed by all!

The cottage adjoins a 5-acre field which guests are welcome to enjoy, the perfect place for dogs to have a good run without having to leave the property! Located in the foothills of Dartmoor the location is perfect for families and couples looking to explore the South Hams and South Devon’s best beaches.

Outside

Large well-kept garden adjoining a gated five-acre field which guests are most welcome to explore and enjoy. Good views of the countryside and Dartmoor, the perfect space for adventures, relaxation, peace and tranquillity. Garden furniture and a gas barbecue are included, so you can sit and watch the ever-changing scenery and wildlife from the comfort of this charming cottage.

Parking

Ample parking on driveway in front of the cottage. Electric Vehicle Charging is available at a pod point within the parking area, exclusively for the use of guests staying at the cottage.
Guests are welcome to use this facility for an additional £60 per car per week.

Accommodation

Ground floor
Gentle sloping entrance path leading to the beautiful modern atrium entrance at the side of the property, with high level glazed walls and ceiling.
Cloakroom: Jack and Jill with the en-suite bathroom for the adjoining bedroom. 
Level access from entrance hall to:
Master bedroom with 5ft king size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, basin, heated towel rail and WC.   
Level access to:
kitchen Diner with Electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, dining table to seat 4 and welsh dresser, Silestone work surfaces and butler's sink.
Steps down to:
Utility/boot room with washing machine, tumble dryer and hanging clothes airer, giving access to the parking area.  
Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor kitchen, hall, bathroom and bedroom. 

Handcrafted open tread oak staircase leading to the First Floor:
Spacious lounge with vaulted beamed ceiling, wood burner, Smart TV and sofas. Good countryside views.
Bedroom 2 with 5ft King size bed or can be set up as twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. En-suite shower room with large shower cubicle, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

• Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own swimming/ beach towels), central heating. Stair gate, travel cot & highchair, initial basket of logs provided end of September to end of May.

• Electric vehicles: Guests are welcome to charge an electric vehicle from a Pod Point within the parking area for £60 per car per week.
