Steps away from the apartment are Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and bird sanctuary on one side and a three-mile shingle beach on the other side, which was used as a training ground for the US Army in the preparation for the D-Day in World War II.
The calm, safe waters are ideal for families. Positioned within easy reach of some of South Devon’s best beaches at Blackpool Sands, Hallsands and Thurlestone. The area is fantastic for coastal walks, bird watching and sight-seeing. If you want to explore further afield, Dartmouth (9 miles), Kingsbridge (7 miles) and Salcombe (13 miles) are within easy reach.
