Description:

For those seeking a different holiday, step into this tranquil garden and you will find Shepherd's Rest. Three beautiful, handmade shepherds huts which collectively house a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen / lounge area. Spend the evenings curled up by the wood burning stove, and spend the daytimes in the peaceful garden watching the wildlife. Situated on the outskirts of Bruton, this is the perfect spot to escape it all, whilst still being accessible to local attractions such as The Newt, Fleet Air Arm Museum and Hauser & Wirth Gallery.

Note: Please note that there is no Wi-Fi at this property. Mobile reception & 4G good for most networks. 

Accommodation

Three individual shepherd’s huts:
Hut One contains a kitchen and lounge area, with a wood burning stove (starter pack of logs provided free of charge, extra logs available on request for a fee), induction hob, built-in electric oven, combi microwave oven, kettle, toaster, cafetière, fridge with ice box, table & chairs to seat 4.
Hut Two contains the bedroom with 4ft 6inch double bed.
Hut Three contains the bathroom with a WC, wash basin, walk-in shower cubicle & heated towel rail.

Outside

The huts are situated in a peaceful garden with fruit trees which guests are welcome to pick from. Patio area with bistro table and chairs for two.
Barbeque: A fire dish is available on request.

Parking

Parking for one car on grass verge on private driveway.
Please note that this property does not have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles. The nearest public charger is located in Tolbury Mill Car Park, a six-minute drive from the property.

• Included: All bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach towels), electricity, portable heaters, starter pack of logs for the wood burner (extra logs available on request for a fee).
• Telephone: No telephone. Mobile reception & 4G good for most networks. Wi-Fi: Please note there is no Wi-Fi.
• Pets: One well behaved dog welcome in public areas of property only (not bedrooms). Pet Charge: £30.00 per pet per week. Please note that as this is a working farm dogs must be kept on leads around the farm.
• Local facilities: Approximately five minutes’ drive to shops, pubs and restaurants in Bruton. Beaches in Lyme Regis, Burnham-on-Sea & West Bay all approximately 40 miles, 
• Short Breaks: Are available all year round, but must start or finish on a Friday.
• Electric vehicles: Electric vehicle charging is not possible at this property (see parking section for details).
