Attractive and iconic in equal measure, the promenade overlooks the town’s sandy stretch and beckons morning strolls as well as post-beach cornets. Boutique shops are plentiful in Sidmouth as are restaurants and cafes, so non-beach days are filled with perusing and/or shopping sprees, as well as lunching on anything from posh fish and chips to vegan burgers and wedges.
