Description

Smugglers is a first-floor apartment in the courtyard at Helford Passage. The property has benefitted from major refurbishment over the last two seasons and now boasts a contemporary navy blue and copper themed kitchen, plus a brand new double walk-in shower with seats and a rail for hanging wetsuits. Maps, oars and other nautical accents add to the seaside theme. There's a living and dining area, three bedrooms, a stunning kitchen and a new shower room.

Helford Passage nestles on the banks of the beautiful river Helford, with a sandy beach and direct access to the South West Coastal Path.  There’s plenty to do on site including hire of kayaks or paddle boards to get you out on the water, or if you prefer, there’s the heated outdoor swimming pool (open to guests from May 1st until the end of September).  The Ferryboat Inn specialises in seafood dishes and holds regular music and quiz nights. The local ferry can take you across to pretty Helford village where you can meander along the shore to explore Daphne Du Maurier’s Fisherman’s Creek.  Alternatively relax and enjoy good food at the welcoming Shipwrights Arms in Helford or venture further afield to historic and bustling Falmouth, experience rugged Land’s End or the gentle gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. All the traditional attractions of a Cornish Holiday such as nearby fishing trips, golf, cycling, horse-riding, seaside fish and chips, coastal walks, art galleries and stunning beaches make this a perfect base for couples or families all year round.

Family bathroom with double shower cubicle featuring a built-in seat for easy removal of wetsuits, hand basin, heated towel rail, and WC.

Walkway balcony to apartment with benches and foldaway tables. Beach and river front 50 yards away.

Parking

Designated parking space for 1 car. Further parking is available in the non-residents' car park, just a stroll up the hill, at a charge of £3 per day. Unfortunately, EV charging is not available at Smugglers.

• Internet and Telephone: Wi-fi is decent. There is no landline at the property. Mobile reception varies.

• Small Party Discounts may be available at certain times of the year, for 1-3 guests.
• Local Facilities: Beach 50 yards. Outdoor heated swimming pool on site (open beginning of May 'til end of Sept). Pubs: Ferry Boat Inn in Helford passage and Shipwrights Arms in Helford. Local shop selling basics in Mawnan Smith, plus the Red Lion pub and Sampys Cafe, 2 miles. Falmouth with all facilities, 6 miles.
