If that isn’t enough for you then Stancombe Manor 100 metres away provides use of an indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, tennis courts, outdoor play area and games room. This fabulous property has all the ingredients for a fun filled family holiday, a perfect retreat for friends to reunite or couples to have a romantic break.

Stancombe Cottage is nestled in the countryside above the pretty village of Sherford, if you can tear yourself away from this idyllic retreat and all its amenities you will find the bustling market town of Kingsbridge a short drive away, with shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and a cinema. The villages of Chillington and Stokenham are also close by, both offering good pubs. Chillington has a village shop and there is a well stocked farm shop with café just past Stokenham. The huge expanse of beach at Torcross is four miles away, from here meander along the scenic coast road to the historic town of Dartmouth a thirty minute drive away which has many amenities to entertain all ages. The South West Coast Path is within easy reach and many countryside walks can be accessed directly from the property.

Kitchen/diner dining table and seating for 8, breakfast bar with 3 stools, large oven, ceramic hob,  undercounter fridge and undercounter freezer, freestanding fridge freezer, dishwasher, ipod dock.
Door through to sun room with large sofa, TV, doors onto terrace and sweeping views down the valley.
Door through to master suite, 5ft king size bed, en suite wet room, doors to patio.
From main hall stairs to first floor: 
Family bathroom, large bath, shower cubicle, WC and hand basin. 
Double bedroom, 5 ft king size bed, en suite shower room.
Bedroom 3, zip link twin/double, (PLEASE ADVISE IF YOU REQUIRE AS A TWIN OR DOUBLE AT TIME OF BOOKING).
Bedroom 4 3' Single bed and childrens bunk beds.

Outside

Terrace with wooden table and seating for 8, further 2 chairs and small table, sloping garden and washing line, views over surrounding countryside.

Use of communal facilities including indoor pool, tennis courts, adventure play equipment and games room. Sauna £1 for 25 minutes. Pitch and Putt golf.

Parking

Ample for 3-4 cars, narrow entrance from Stancombe Manor onto drive.

• Included: Bed linen and towels (Guests to bring own pool/beach towels), electricity, heating. Travel cot, high chair and stairgate available on request.

• Electric vehicles can be charged from the domestic supply at £30 per week. 
• Indoor Pool open 7am-9pm-periodically closed for maintenance during this time for an hour, the caretaker does try and work around guest use where possible.
• No telephone, mobile reception varies depending on network.
• Please be aware supermarket delivery vehicles can only deliver to the courtyard not to the property itself
• Local facilities: Pub 1 mile. Shop 2 miles at Chillington, Beach: Slapton Sands 4.5miles. Garage with good selection of food and other items and leisure shop in East Charleton 3 miles. Nearest towns: Kingsbridge 4.5miles or Dartmouth 12.5 miles
