The Wool barn is located in the grounds of Rowden House. Rowden House is an impressive Grade II Listed farmhouse dating to 1884 (they can be let together accommodating up to 12 guests). The Wool Barn has been fully renovated and is full of character, period features and charm. Set in a stunning rural location with glorious views of rolling farmland the barn offers a great space for a couple's getaway and a great base to explore the beautiful local area. Downstairs comprises of a well laid out kitchen and dining area with a separate space for sitting and relaxing. The slate flooring gives a real farmhouse feel downstairs, then up the beautiful, handcrafted staircase wooden flooring leads through a cosy lounge and on to the bathroom and bedroom. The outside space provides a seating area in the shared courtyard and a table for outside dining in part of the front gardens.
The sofa located in the lounge is a sofa bed, so could happily accommodate 2 adults or a child and there is a travel cot available to use too.
Located just half a mile from the sea with fabulous dog walks from the front door, and a mile to the bustling yachting haven of Noss Mayo, the property is a short drive away from Mothecombe beach, a wide and unspoilt beach and within half an hour to the maritime city of Plymouth, with the wilds of Dartmoor on its outskirts.
Accommodation
Large front door welcomes you into the barn. There are 3 steps down leading to the ground floor.
Kitchen diner stretches along the left side of the room, hosting a good amount of surface and cupboard space. A metal sink with double draining boards each side sits under a small window overlooking the courtyard. A well equipped kitchen hosts an oven with a ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. An integrated fridge (no freezer compartment) and a washer dryer tucked in there too.
Wooden staircase leads up to the top floor. Lounge area with seating for 2 plus a bean bag, smart TV tucked in a cupboard on the wall, wooden flooring throughout this level. This sofa is a sofa bed therefore able to accomade 2 more people.
Bedroom has King sized bed, bedside tables, full sized wardrobe and a Juliette style balcony opening out to the side of the barn.

The Wool Barn is located off a court yard that is shared wih Rowden House. It has its own seating area outside the barn and then tucked around the front there is separate seating over looking the gardens of the main house and far reaching countryside views.
Parking
There is a designated parking space alongside the back off the property but safely with the grounds, behind electric gates.
