Stable Cottage is a warm and welcoming countryside retreat in the heart of North Cornwall, perfect for relaxed family holidays and peaceful escapes. Sleeping up to 4 guests across 2 comfortable bedrooms, this beautifully converted former stable is full of character, from the original granite flagstones to the thick stone walls and cosy rural charm. Dog friendly and surrounded by peaceful farmland, it’s an ideal place to slow down and enjoy time together.

The spacious open-plan living area includes a farmhouse-style kitchen and breakfast space, perfect for lazy mornings and family meals, while the cosy lounge with its wood burner and oversized corner sofa is made for film nights, games and relaxing evenings in after a day exploring the coast.

The master bedroom features a luxurious bed and en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom can be arranged as twin beds or a super king-size double, making the cottage ideal for families, couples or friends. A spacious family bathroom with a roll-top bath and rainfall shower adds an extra touch of comfort after beach days and countryside walks.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private fenced woodland garden with beautiful countryside views, a fire pit and plenty of space to relax beneath the stars. Surrounded by wildlife, grazing horses and the peaceful sounds of the farm, Stable Cottage offers a true countryside escape in one of Cornwall’s most beautiful locations.

Accommodation:

Ground Floor;
Open plan living space; with 3 sofas, smart TV with Netflix and a wood burner.
Kitchen/Diner with table and chairs to seat 4, fridge freezer, dishwasher, double oven with induction hob, microwave and Smeg bean-to-cup coffee machine.

Bedroom 1 with 5ft king size bed, wardrobe and drawers.
Ensuite shower room with large shower enclosure, WC and basin.
Bedroom 2 with either 6ft super-king or twin with wardrobe and drawers.
Main bathroom with roll top bath, separate shower enclosure, WC and basin.

Outside:

Private, fenced garden with table and chairs, fire-pit and barbeque. Seating area in the courtyard at front of cottages.

Additional 7 acres to roam free, stunning views and a chance to meet and feed the resident pygmy goats, sheep, ducks and chickens.

Parking:

Parking for 2 vehicles in the car park, just by the cottages.

Please note this property does not currently have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.

Additional Information

Included: Bed linen, towels, bath robes and beach towels (guests must provide their own dog towels). One complimentary basket of logs, kindling, and firelighters is provided. Additional logs can be purchased on-site at the handy little shop. Cot, booster chair, bathroom steps and other child & baby equipment available on request.
Internet and telephone: Ultra-fast WiFi. There is no landline, but mobile reception is generally good.
Shared Laundry room: Washing machine and tumble dryer.  A range of equipment and games to take to the beach.
Pets: Up to 3 well-behaved dog's welcome.
Electric vehicles: Please note that this property does not currently have suitable facilities for charging electric vehicles.
Short breaks: Short breaks are available all year round.
Local facilities: The nearest beaches are Port Gaverne and Trebarwith, both within 5 miles. There is a pub, café, and post office in St Teath, just over 1 mile away. The nearest shops are the Co-op in Port Isaac (6 miles) and Spar in Delabole (4 miles). Tintagel is 7 miles away. For larger supermarkets, pubs, and cafés, Wadebridge is 9 miles away.
