The Red Lion Inn and Dittisham community shop (open daily 08:30 - 12:30) are 2.0 miles away and the outstanding Anchorstone Café, sitting on the banks of the River Dart and serving some of the areas freshest seafood is 2.5 miles away. For the golf enthusiasts, Dartmouth Golf and Country Club is 2.5 miles away and offers spa facilities and swimming pool. Situated roughly halfway between the historic market town of Totnes (5 miles) and the interesting maritime town of Dartmouth (6.5 miles) guests are only a short journey to the amenities of both towns, including a host of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, weekly markets, leisure centres, supermarkets, a small arthouse style cinema and bar (Totnes) and a petrol stations.
